About This Project

WCG has assisted UDOT Traffic & Safety with Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) management services for several years. During this time the program has grown to about $24 million annually and the effectiveness of the program at reducing fatalities has improved. WCG has provided data analysis, network screening, site diagnosis, countermeasure selection, before/after analysis, and various HSM-driven services. We assisted UDOT in implementing new methods for managing the program efficiently, emphasizing program obligation, and selecting the highest-value projects.
