About This Project

The Jeremy Ranch Interchange project is located at Interstate 80 (I-80) Exit 141 and the Jeremy Ranch frontage roads in Summit County, Utah. From 2007 to 2015, three studies were conducted to determine an improved interchange system that would adequately manage traffic flow through 2040. The previous I-80 off-ramps termini consist of 2-way stops while the nearby frontage road intersections are both 4-way stops. This project included two 6-way roundabouts, one on either side of I-80, and provided full turning movements for the eastbound and westbound I-80 on and off-ramps along with movements onto and off of the nearest frontage roads and Homestead Rd. The roundabouts meet traffic operation needs, help minimize storage lengths, improve safety conditions, and maintain Summit County’s precedent for non-signalized intersections.
